Funny Stop Comedy Club welcomes co-headliners Bill Stone and Bill Boronkay!
Comic Bill Stone is a hilariously funny stand-up comedian and entertainer. He is also a celebrated graphic designer and co-founder of BS Pro Design, creating digital designs and promotions for artists & venues from coast to coast. His laugh out loud comedy is something to be seen! He is a rapidly growing comedic phenom from Akron, Ohio, following in the path of great talent such as Lebron James and Devo. After only starting comedy at the ripe young age of 39, he quickly became a staple at The Funny Stop Comedy Club in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio where he performs as a regular emcee as well as an occasional feature. He now travels across the United States featuring at clubs and venues nationwide.
His comedy style is an upbeat take on self depreciation, situational comedy with a splash of topical. He can take you anywhere from PG 13 to a strong R rating, depending on the club or the crowd. Bill is also one of the founding members of the Rubber City Comedy Festival in Akron, Ohio and also works closely with the Cleveland Comedy Festival. He has recently begun breaking into acting and his first role was in the independent film “Science Boys High School Reunion” which won multiple festival awards for comedy. He then landed his first background role in the academy award winner “Judas and the Black Messiah”. He definitely had a standout performance as an extra reading a menu. Be sure to check out his Bill Stone IMDB credits.
When not doing stand-up comedy, he is hard at work with his design company, BS Pro Design, creating promotional work for clubs and comedians, like Jim Florentine, Marc “Skippy” Price, Basile the Comedian and many more.
Bill Boronkay
Once one of the country's fastest rising sportscasters, Bill Boronkay enjoyed stops in Clarksburg, WV, Evansville, IN and Kansas City before finally landing in sunny Cleveland, OH where he was assigned various hazardous duties. Along the way, Boronkay won 5 Emmy’s, one of which is proudly displayed in his mother's home office behind a lamp.
After a failed audition with ESPN (a mirror was involved), Bill reevaluated his career and took off in lukewarm pursuit of his true 14th dream and stand up.
Bill's been seen on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, SportsTime Ohio, Time Warner Cable and heard on ESPN Radio, Bob & Tom and various radio stations across the country.
In 2015, Bill moved to New York where he can often be found on the right train going the wrong direction.
